Before you watch Conan O’Brien signing off from “The Tonight Show” one last time, please spend your TV watching hours doing some good. The much anticipated “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon, which was orchestrated by George Clooney and sponsored by MTV Networks, will begin broadcasting this evening at 8PM EST. Late yesterday, we heard that Jay Leno has negotiated a deal with NBC to take back “The Tonight Show” at 11:35PM. The deal is allegedly still in the works, as Conan O’Brien declared [...] I have been holding off all day to write something about September 11th. It’s one of those things, as a New Yorker that is difficult to move past and yet even more of an obstacle to delve into. I have read some truly amazing and personal pieces online today from news sources and Tumblr [...] Walter Cronkite, anchor and journalist, has died at the age of 92. Cronkite, “the most trusted man in America”, during his 50+ years in journalism had covered the assasinations of President Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kenney, our landing on the moon, the Vietnam War, the Watergate scandal, various [...] Let’s get all artsy and fartsy up in here. On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of attending POPRALLY at MOMA event here in New York City with my very talented artist boyfriend. Department of Eagles were premiering their brand spanking new video, courtesy of acclaimed music video director Patrick Daughters and artist extraordinaire [...] If this poster doesn’t get you excited for the upcoming live action version of “Where the Wild Things Are”, I don’t know what will. A Spike Jonze fan site has been on the lookout for images for the adaptation of the beloved children’s novel and they found this poster within Nickelodeon’s Nick Magazine. [...] Here we go.
