The much anticipated “Hope for Haiti Now”telethon,which was orchestrated by George Clooney and sponsored by MTV Networks,will begin broadcasting this evening at 8PM EST. Late yesterday,we heard that Jay Leno has negotiated a deal with NBC to take back “The Tonight Show”at 11:35PM. The deal is allegedly still in the works,as Conan O’Brien declared earlier [...] I have been holding off all day to write something about September 11th. It’s one of those things,as a New Yorker that is difficult to move past and yet even more of an obstacle to delve into.
