Nicole Eggert Puts on the Baywatch Suit One More Time!

Back in the day, there was nothing hotter than Nicole Eggert. I had such a girl crush on her when I was watching “Charles in Charge” (which reminds me of the adorable Jennifer Runyon) and somehow, her hot actress status didn’t really pay off for a career with longevity. She made the same mistake so many other actresses have and got breast implants. She also had the quintessential late 80′s actress live, which meant hanging out with Scott Baio, dating Corey Haim and eventually landed herself a gig as a lifeguard on “Baywatch”. Surprisingly, she hasn’t been heard from much since. Eggert lost the implants awhile ago, but recently started putting on the pounds, or what is commonly known to the rest of the world as becoming normal sized. Since Eggert still counts as a celebrity, mainly thanks to millions of once upon a time teenage boys, VH1 reached out to her and she agreed to join the cast of their latest installment of “Celebrity Fit Club”. And apparently, Eggert has no issue poking fun at herself or the insane idea that a woman who is a size 10 would be considered fat. She teamed up with FunnyorDie team to see what would be response to her in her bikini on the beach nowadays.

I really appreciate a chick who has a good humor regarding her image, especially an actress who was forced to base a lot of her career on her looks. Unfortunately, not everyone gets the joke in the video, but if you can’t find it, its useless to break it down for you. The new installment of “Celebrity Fit Club” looks like it could be the best yet, with Bobby Brown, Sebastian Bach, Kevin Federline, Project Runway’s Jay McCarrol and Bad Girl’s Club favorite Tanisha, joining Eggert in the pursuit to loose the pounds. I can not wait for the shit to hit the fan in February, when the season premieres on Vh1.

As I have said way too many times already, 2009 is the year of Zach Galifianakis. Can you explain any other reason why a hot Oscar winning actress like Charlize Theron would allow herself to be interviewed between two ferns? Yes, Theron found herself on the hysterical web series, Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis, from FunnyorDie.com. Zach has already interviewed Jon Hamm, Michael Cera, Bradley Cooper and Natalie Portman, to name a few. Generally, the “celebrity interviews” border on the uncomfortably awkward, all for comedy’s sake of course, but Theron really brought it to the table with this episode with a few hysterical off the cuff remarks and her ability to play with Zach well. Me thinks her and Zach might have been smoking a little something something if you know what I mean, and I think you do. Enjoy the hilarity ensuing.

I love this hooker. Cavallari is a refreshing change for reality programming, because unlike her costars in crime she GETS IT. “The Hills” has actually made me excited for the upcoming season of the ~~soap opera~~ reality show, just so I can see her play the queen bitch, which she does oh soooo well. Holy Crap! Every time I think Betty White can not get any better, she manages to blow my mind with her ridiculous humor. FunnyOrDie.com did a “behind the scenes” video to help promote the upcoming comedy “The Proposal” starring Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds and Betty White. The video below has Betty White cursing at Reynolds, Bullock coming this close from roughing up Reynolds and Ryan instructing the lovely Betty White to suck a hot dick. This could be the hottest three way I have seen in quite some time. And this also proves that my getting amped for this when I saw the original trailer months ago was more than appropriate. “The Proposal” comes out in theaters on June 12th and I will be there supporting the hottest woman in Hollywood, even at age 87, Betty White.

There are days where I wish I had a following. And by this I mean, I wish I was much more well known, like I would easily get movie deals, have my own TV show (who knows what it would be about) and late night night hosts would jump at the chance to get me as a guest on their shows. But then I remember what its like for Lindsay Lohan to go shopping or Brooke Shields to bring her kids to school and I go “Wow thank the lord I’m not famous”. And if you think that’s bad, just imagine MILLIONS of people seeing pictures or logging into sites just to bash your appearance, your talents or even worse, just to say they don’t like you.

Casey Wilson is fairly new to the fame gig, since she was made a “Saturday Night Live” cast member last year, but she has apparently made quite a mark on people. While her career has essentially just begun, she is already finding out that assholes are aplenty when it comes to the Internets. Now I wont get over her being a part of “Bride Wars”, but I do thoroughly enjoy her on SNL and hope that she continues to be a force in comedy. And I really love the fact that she has such a fresh approach to the entertainment world and wants to support other women getting into the field, which is always inspiring. Apparently though there are a few assholes who don’t agree and are so dumbstruck by here they take their valuable time to anonymously bash the SNL cutie. Here’s Casey, with Funny or Die, poking fun at this sickness called “asshat commenting”. This video alone makes me want to grab a drink and become friends with the girl.

Lohan Pokes Fun At Herself With eHarmony Spoof

You know that feeling when you are no longer best friends with someone because there is some petty rift between you two which caused a ridiculous fight and neither of you are strong enough to just let bygones be bygones. And then you run into them like a year or two after and all you want to do is hug them and forget about being ditched by your bestie at a club so she could make out with some dude from a band? Well thats sort of how I feel about this video from FunnyorDie.com. Lindsay Lohan teamed up with the evil geniuses at FOD and created a spoof of those tragic eHarmony commercials, playing into the media hype about her recent break up with Samantha Ronson and her annual crippling my the gossip rags.

While the video above is rusty and its obvious Ms. Lohan is reading a great deal of cue cards, the funny is there. I can see the possibility of light at the end of this sad little tunnel Lindsay and I hope you can see it too. I mean just when I think this chick has really just settled into “Sean Young” territory comfortably, she does something like this and I forget why I stopped calling her my LiLo. There are few things that I love more in Hollywood than a comeback, especially when its from someone who I think has the chops to make it work. Lohan might be a mess, there is no argument there, I think, no I know, that with the right people behind her, with her family far away from any business or personal dealings other than Christmas dinner and her with a new batch of friends, she can make it. So instead of pulling her down and watching her burn, thank you FunnyOrDie, for bringing funny back to Ms. Lohan. I can honestly say she desperately needed it!

Ok I Give In.. Zac Efron We Can Be Friends Now!

So it’s been brewing for a bit, and believe me I have been fighting it with all my energy, but I think I am beginning to seriously fall for Zac Efron. Zac has seemingly been working over time to get into my good graces and after seeing the commercials for his upcoming film “17 Again”, I just know I am goner when it comes to this dude. Now this aint the some sort of dirty crush like what I have for Ryan Reynolds or Alan Rickman (Don’t Scoff!), but its more the “gosh darn it aren’t you charming” kind. Now don’t get me wrong, I will forever be bitter that this kid was cast as Link in “Hairspray”, but I think his most recent career moves are a wonderful start to a true career outside the Disney umbrella. And apparently I am not the only who thinks this way, since the actor was given the award for Breakthrough Performer at ShoWest earlier this month.

In “17 Again”, Efron stars as a younger version of Matthew Perry’s character Mike O’Donnell after something paranormal and hijinxy happens. Zac then is confronted with viewing his life through a different framework, which I can only assume means he will become closer to his children and love his wife, played by Leslie Mann, more. While the movie might not be the most original, I like how instead of being thrown into the role of one of his kids, which would have been a direct pick up from 80′s classics like “Vice Versa” or “Like Father, Like Son”, they have him just as some random teenage kid, so that you get to actually see how kids are nowadays. And from the commercials and trailers, this could easily become the next installment in my collection of perfect Saturday Afternoon comedies, much like “13 Going on 30″ and “Whatever Happens in Vegas” (don’t judge!). Also starring in the film is State alumni, Thomas Lennon, who plays Perry’s/ Efron’s best friend, which is always a comedy slam dunk in my mind. And as Efron seems to be attempting to distance himself from his Disney life, he is attempting to go the funny route. This weekend, Efron will be move up another step on the pop culture ladder when he hosts “Saturday Night Live”, with musical guests Yeah Yeah Yeahs. This coupled with the “Pool Party” video that dropped today on FunnyorDie.com marks the next step for the young Efron, the one that brings his career beyond songs and dances.

The video stars so many young Hollywooders it resembles an UsWeekly party. The scene stealers are the always funny Nicole Sullivan and Thomas Lennon, who play Efron’s embarassing Uncle Hank and girlfriend. And while its hard for anyone to hold a candle to that sort of funny, Zac does a good job as the straight man in this parody (No thats not some undercover gay joke). After all this, I’m excited to see whats the next step in Efron’s blossoming career.
