Well this morning was a real snoozefest in regards to the Oscar nominations. With the field of Best Picture opening up to ten nominees this year, there was high anticipation in what would find its way into the coveting category along with shoo-ins Avatar, The Hurt Locker and Inglorious Basterds. Sadly, the opening of the category did not lend itself to a more varied or interesting competition, as fare like The Blind Side, virtually a Lifetime Movie, got a nod. Nominees after the jump.
