A few months back, Lindsay Lohan began working with a friend on a documentary exposing the corrupt human trafficking practices taking place in India. Lohan joined a doc crew in India and began discussing the practice with families affected by it for BBC Three. A trailer for the upcoming documentary was released yesterday and I am not sure what to make of it yet. Yes, this might be for publicity. And yes, Lindsay Lohan might not be the best “serious” face for your very real and important documentary. But, if there is anyone who knows what its like to be sold by your parents into “slavery”, she certainly does.

I find it interesting and sort of really symbolic she is going to be doing this type of thing. And yes, I am being earnest.
