Walter Cronkite, anchor and journalist, has died at the age of 92. Cronkite, “the most trusted man in America”, during his 50+ years in journalism had covered the assasinations of President Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kenney, our landing on the moon, the Vietnam War, the Watergate scandal, various Olympic games and a slew of other monumental historical moments for America and the world. His credibility and his trust worthy voice will be sadly missed, especially in today’s world where it seems journalistic integrity and neutrality are slipping away. He is survived by his three children and four grandchildren.
