“Store Front”, A Peak Into NYC’s Past

I am OBSESSED with this book. Its an encompassing photo archive of about 200 old school store fronts and signs throughout the five boroughs of NYC, which are all but gone. Part of the fun of going to other cities is still seeing stores and shops that look like this. The disappearance of these store fronts makes me loathe NYC sometimes. I have spent hours in Strand looking through this book and all of its beautiful pictures honoring the relics of NYC. Tomorrow night is the opening reception for the exhibition of the photos at Clic Gallery.
