Just what we all need – another doomsday movie. And with that being said,“2012”,the latest end of days action film from Roland Emmerich,director of “Independence Day”,looks INSANE. The movie stars John Cusack,who does not do enough action films in my humble opinion,Amanda Peet,Oliver Platt and Chiwetel Ejiofor,in a battle against the end of the world and the US government who doesn’t seem so perturbed by the demise of the earth. The non-stop action film centers around John Cusack,a researcher,who battles the elements and the standard dirty tricks behind the scenes of the US government. And while I know the last thing us sad Americans need is to be reminded of how really fragile this world and our country is I can’t help be pysched for this movie. With Cusack providing the necessary dry humor that calms the storms in your normal apocalyptic action flicks,I can’t think of a reason to not be excited for this film.

The trailer is a pure action porn sequence and my only issue with the film as of yet is that the end of days happens on December 21,2012,a day before my 32nd birthday.
