Sonic Youth, just released their SIXTEENTH album “The Eternal” on Matador Records, and I can not get enough of it.  It seems as though with each album they make, I fall deeper in love with them.  They closed out ;the concert series at McCarren Park pool in Williamsburglast year and it was amazing to see a band that have been together for this long, not only rock hard, but really appreciate each other as a band mates.  With the video for their first single “Sacred Trickster”, they channel their NYC post punk roots, while remaining true to their quirky music video style . And in my mind, Kim Gordon will forever remain the coolness barometer for one time alterna tweens like myself.  Enjoy!
