WooHoo! Blur played their first gig together as a four piece in nine years this past weekend returning to the East Anglian Railway Museum, where the band played their first show in 1988. The brit pop band played for over two hours for friends, fans and family in the small performance space and you can check out the truly career encompassing set list here. As a massive fan of the band, I am extremely excited that Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon have found a way to mend fences and reunite the band.

Blur’s members have had their issues with each other in the past, but this was the first show in a summer long stint for Blur, which continues tonight with a surprise show in London in celebration of the release of “Midlife: A Beginners Guide to Blur”. While the reunion dates are limited to the UK only at this point, I can only hope that Albarn and co. will find their way across the pond. This will allow me to freak out on my three favorite bands reuniting this year, as opposed to just two.
Check out some of the performances at the June 13th gig. I wish someone got “Oily Water”, one of my favorite songs of the bands, on video.
